F9 recording
« on: November 17, 2012, 03:49:16 am »

Hi Outerra,

I am recording video with the F9 key and the video capture works very well. The issue I am having is the sound is recorded but very, very quietly and I can barely hear it. In fact I can only hear it if I tuen my volume to max, then there is a lot of hiss that is louder than the sound.

Is there a config for the recorder I have missed.

Any ideas?

Jeff

I have fixed the issue, my sound devices was set to mic for capture... :)

Should be set to stereo mix or similar. We will be soon adding a modified OpenAL library that supports loopback recording, then it will not be necessary to set up the recording device before starting the video capture.
