Engine or not to engine
« on: April 03, 2013, 10:18:24 pm »

Ok so my question is .... Is it actually an engine in the making. I understand they will eventually make a game. Bu is this a engine where we can build worlds? Do we have access to the scripting to create for example new vehicle types?

And am I correct in understanding that is purchase the anteworld demo I will get acces to the tools as well as updates?

I currently use cryengine. But am finding it limited when it comes to my open world wanna be idea?  Thanks guys!

Yes we are making an engine, and Anteworld is a demo game being developed alongside it. While the engine is not yet available until it's finished, the game is going to be modable and exposes lots of the engine tools. You can already import models and create new vehicles, see the importer board.
