was hoping to post an update but im having a world of sh*t with the js file at the moment!

the model has been updated with extra moving parts like gear shift, foot brake, gas pedal!
also got the speedo working! all thanks to the belair js file! :D but its come at a price.

for some reason my front right wheel jams and twists and wont turn or roll? guess ive messed up somewhere but having real trouble sorting it. still working of rev sounds too but not having much luck there as well!

last problem is the dds textures still not showing and i have no idea why? no error in console?

im gonna keep at it but this is doing my head in now! if anyone whos good at this wouldnt mind having a look to see if they can help fix it that would be great!

heres the file: http://www.mediafire.com/?d338md71fsyuf9i

EDIT: ok i been over that file now maybe 30 times and i cant see for the life of me why that front wheel is locked up? still dont know why the textures are not showing too! anyway its f*cked me off enough for one night, its almost 4am and im shattered! hope to wake up to a post sayng "found the bug" ;) nite y'all

I checked the .matlib and there's no dds file set to a diffuse texture. Normally the importer should set these automaticly, but you can manually write them in as i did. A few textures are set at wrong place but i'll let you figures these out.

Also you set the soundemitter to a wheel. Since the wheel is spinning, the sound will woble. You need to set it to another bone

The third sound in the .js is suppose to be the decelaration sound and you have shutdown.ogg there . You need something like e90_offlow.ogg there (from the BMW)

As for the right wheel, i have no clue. But good job! you're learning fast. This thing gonna look real nice!

thank you M7! means a lot! :D

dont know why the dds files went like that as i didnt change any settings? but now i know i will be able to fix that in future! :)

i didnt know putting the sound emmiter on the wheel would be a problem! also with the engine sound, i just chucked the extra sound there for the moment to clear the error, gonna change that anyway. thanks ;)

as for the right wheel being locked up, i have no clue also? that ones really gonna bug me! if all else fails i will have no choice but to build up the js file again from scratch and see if that works!

if anyone else has any idea why the front wheel is jammed, please let me know!

thanks for all your help! :D

Hrm.. Just had a though to assign two engine sounds to two separate points and try a stereo mix split in two.

Anyone feel like messing with that? I could make the engine recording myself with my Tascam.

Did you check the pivot (axis) of the wheel in max? Pretty sure its not the problem but never know.

Hey Bugs, will you add sounds for your Charger? I really like it :D Great model, and it drives decent even with these limited physics that we have now. :)
