Procedurally generated buildings ?
« on: January 30, 2014, 09:52:36 am »

Hey, found about this engine 2 days ago and bought the alpha today ! My question is, how far will you go about realism ? Will there be procedurally generated buildings, cities, NPC's, starsystems etc. ? If yes, can you give me some detail about the timeline of the project ? Thanks !

Hello Maeg,

The earth-realismn will be insane. Procedurally generated stuff is planned of course. But you cannot expect timelines, because they also have to support existing projects. So let the time flow, each release will increase the awesomeness.

As far as i know celestial bodies like the mars were planned. So dont think in restrictions - think in the missing time each day has ;)

Procedural generated buildings was the first thing I thought about when I opened up this alpha, indeed this is an amazing engine. Look forward to future awesomeness.
