Placing objects via axis, not drag and drop.
« on: February 06, 2014, 02:11:01 pm »

I know how to import basic models with no collision data and place them. I want to learn the basics before I start firing up the collision data, vehicle scripting, etc.

I have a space ship I designed and need to know how to place/move objects outside of spawning it, and dragging it along the ground. I can see the arrow axis on the object, but can't grab them. How do I lift, lower, rotate, etc the object into the correct position I like?

There are several keys for specific actions.
A few of these keys:

V: Move object vertically
O, K, L: Rotate over different axes

Don't know if there are more, but you could just try all keys ;).
