The proper way to use TrackIR with Outerra is to smash it to pieces.

Given shoddy craftmanship, this isn't particularly hard.

Still, the license of the plugin allows for improper use. Those liberal hippy licenses...

Eventually we will just be using Oculus to drive the immersion not TrackIR :)

I agree.

Head tracking is undergoing a complete and total revolution.

Some of us aren't gonna make it, some of us will be decried the kings and the queens... This is our time.

Looks like the plugin is no longer available at that link.  Is TIR still supported by that plugin? Can anyone re-upload?

This may not help you in any way;

I'm not sure what happened to that link but I sold my TrackIR as i'm now replacing it with the Oculus Rift, much more immersion.

thank you for your reply and sharing the file- it somewhat works - but is still impracticle in that when I pan my head to the left the view pans right and vice versa and I can't really move my head without the view moving rapidly and almost uncontrollably outside the aircraft, with difficulty getting  back inside teh cockpit (especialy with teh pan ning in teh oposite direction it's supposed to goin etc)..is there any way to adjust the profile/plug in so when I pan my head to the left the view naturally pans left in the same direction and vice versa and that it doesn't move outside the aircraft with the slightest head movement (make it less sensitive etc)? Thank you anyone out there again!

Place the OT.xml file into the profile folder in TrackIR.

SO is this working any more?  I have installed the OTX file into track IR and restarted it, I have made a plugins folder and put the latest dll in there.  Anything I missing?
