I`m making a new skin (hey why not?) and I`m having some specular issues:

Basicaly, I want to make the paint on the rest of the plane duller, like the paint on the tail. I can`t seem to find the right values

Looks like a metallic color with a high value for F0 in the .mtl, something like 1.0. And the tail has probably a value of 0.1 or lower.

Both parts have the same values  ??? :

      "color" : "1.0,1.0,1.0,1.0",

Then it must be the specular/roughness map that must be different cause the front looks shiny and tail dull.

One note though, i personnally find that using "f0" : "1.0",  make it looks strange, like you never see a plane using metallic color except for bare metal ones like some DC3. (which i find really beautifull)

Fixed it. The specular maps were unbalanced. Thanks for the help!

Here it is! A Cargo North livery, for those who venture to the North!

Great paint - the reflective greenish is also good to find wreckage's if something happens ...

Here`s the download. Levi, if you`re seeing this, please add this repaint to the first post.
http://www.mediafire.com/download/9c4vydu473ajcs9/basler_bt67.Levi.otx

NOTE - This repaint required the base pack of the plane in Page 1 of this topic.
NOTE 2 - This repaint uses its own separate specular map included in the texture folder. Do not edit the MTL file or delete the specular maps.

Hello John514!

Thanks for this repaint, it looks very nice ;)

Yesterday I saw this livery on internet and wanted to suggest it to you, but you were faster and posted it here o.O

This is the pic I found:

I added this livery on the main post.

If you want to make more liveries, this is a nice one, it's called Buffalo Airways:

Although Buffalo Airways is a DC 3, I`ll make that one as well!

Do you have permission to convert any other plane?

The thing is that I hadn't too much free time lately. I took a look at Project Airbus some time ago, and found that it doesn't have a 3D VC, and people used the FSX default VC.
Now, while posting I took a quick look over the Project Airbus, again, and found out that they actually made a 3D VC (I was blind the last time when I checked it? o.O):
What do you think about the VC model? I think it looks fine being freeware, right?

Anyways, I'll try to contact with the team behind this project, if you people like that project and think it worth the effort (not really a effort, because I enjoy doing this ;D) to convert it.

Let me know your opinion please :)

This VC is fantastic for a freeware plane. I used Project Airbus` planes a lot in FSX!
Thanks for doing this!
