Lighting.....

We all know that eventually the lighting will be added and cars will have headlights, planes will have landing lights roads will stretch into the distance like diamond snakes in a black sky.......

But is Outerra aiming for the  dreaded deferred lighting system, or something more friendly to anti-aliasing?

Inquiring minds want to know!!

We will use hybrid system where some part will use deferred shading and other parts forward shading...

WIP stuff grass lighting isn't finished yet...

Everything OT does is a Game Changer. What it needs to be is an Attention Getter. That wonderful and horrible day when a million people take note and throw money at our Slovak friends.

All we can hope is it doesn't go to their heads, (and up their noses ;p )

the SDK will be the game changer.

Angrypig, I'm not sure it's intentional, but your whole "WIP stuff" screenshot folder on i.minus seems to be readable for everyone. Since there are screencaps of 3D trees, clouds, debug interface and unrealesed vehicules, I just wanted to be sure it's not a problem :-\.

... and now I feel like the guy who opened up the pandora box  :D

To be clear and avoid unnecessary expectations, there was nothing insanely new in this folder. Just unpublished shots of various things and features already announced, an interresting insight of the evolution of things already available in the game, but in a different perspective or point of view  :).

It seems to be a Minus glitch, sometimes it makes a direct image link into a page link. We didn't do anything, it fixed itself.
