Bug with the importer
« on: May 18, 2014, 06:16:38 am »

I noticed that meshes that used the mirror tool in 3dsmax don't stay mirrored when imported to Outerra.

The turrets on the right were mirrored along the center axis when making the model but as you can see they are the wrong way round ingame. I re-imported the DAE file and in 3dsmax and another game they show the right way round. Am I missing something?

Maybe the 3dmax file is not right. Did you rotate the turret to the front without applying the current rotation as standard rotation = 0? In know just blender but this would be the reason in blender.

Yes, it was something called the xForm mesh. Finally managed to fix it. *phew*
