[Question] Request for help
« on: August 26, 2015, 01:39:50 pm »

Hello Guys,

i want to learn how to use jsbsim. Big credits to uriah who helped me to step in the topic. Therefore i could create a simple reference plane with a piston engine. It is similar to the fieseler fi 156 aka "Storch". I configured all necessesary stuff so far (with authentical values). But the plane doesnt feel like it is handled correctly. The JSBSim ref manual doesnt explain everything, so my question is actually, where my errors are.
These issues are not solved:
* Correct 3 point ground reaction. All contacts are at the correct position when pressing Alt 7. So i have no idea why my plane is sometimes flipping around like in circus and the cessna not
* Is my CoG correct?

OTX

I want to invite you to help me. Because what is better than having 3 people which can handle jsbsim? Of course 4 people are.

i dont know much about JsbSim, but that bouncyness on the ground is fairly similar to bad ssuspension parameters outcomes in vehicles ...

Also, nice dummy model ...

Hi Thomas,

Also alles sehr rudimentär

Ich habe eigentlich das da gemeint:
L.Dv. 2601, Flugzeughandbuch Fi 156, Ausgabe 1940, 305 Seiten
