Lost in space
« on: October 03, 2014, 12:43:02 pm »

Im reading all the amazing things about this and its just making me feel worse that it doesnt work lol

I start the app by double clicking the short cut on desktop, it fires straight over to my dk2 no problem, head tracking seems to be completely functional but all I can see is stars, nothing else, nothing I press seems to bring up any menus etc, im very confused

oculus runtime 0.4.2
firmware 2.12
extended mode
windows 8.1
gtx 780

any help greatly appreciated

You're in the main menu. Just look around and you'll find the login screen somewhere. I think you can center the view somehow as well.

Does pressing the semicolon key do anything?
You might also want to update your graphics drivers, you have 331.65 and I'm not sure if that wasn't the problematic branch.

It now wont start up

Comes up with a dialogue box titled "fatal error" "

error loading iomap bindings :1: - error reading variable" , error: system syntax error, format invalid: expected [

I would delete iomap and let Outerra rebuild it.
