Exporting from OT to fbx
« on: November 06, 2014, 11:31:03 pm »

Hi!

Is it possible (and allowed), export models from OT to .fbx? I want to correct some uv map deformations of the ah-64 and paint a simple texture for the cockpit.

Without getting the source files you wont can edit the models. They are stored in a binary format and probably there is no model exporter. An exporter would be bad because you could change the model easily without the permission of the creator. So you have to go the hard way. Ask if you can get the sources for changing them.

I understand, thank you, necro! So, for the O.T. staff, is it possible to have the model? The texture are stretched in some areas, where the unwrap needs to be modified; and a few details inside the cockpit would look nice.

Note: There is a funny text wrote in the texture, and is in spanish:

"DANGER: Hay que tener mucho cuidado. Luego no digan que no se los he dicho"

"DANGER: You have to be very careful. Don't tell me later that I haven't warned you".
