Wikipedia: The Corby CJ-1 Starlet is a single seat, amateur-built aeroplane designed in the 1960s by Australian aeronautical engineer John Corby.

This is an unofficial conversion for the Corby Starlet CJ-1 from ClassicWings.net. The conversion is done with Craig Richardson's Permission.

Released on January 01, 2015

Update:
v1.01 (May 27, 2020)
  • Fixed propeller opacity issue.

Some features:
- 6 different liveries.
- Moving pilot head.
- Animated flight control system.
- Animated landing gear suspension.
- Almost all instruments working:
    Airspeed
    Altimeter
    Compass
    Fuel quantity
    Turn and slip
    Tachometer
    Vertical Speed
    Voltmeter
    Oil Pressure
    Oil Temperature
    Cylinder Head Temperature

- Engine sounds for low and high RPM & brumble sound.
- Working canopy(open and close it using 'gear' key).

Great conversion!
My only complaint is that it does not like flying above 9100 ft. But hey, its a great flying and looking little plane.

It should be able to reach that altitude. Did you tried to adjust the mixture to maintain high RPMs?

Mixture Control is quite important on piston powered aircraft engines, as it sets the amount of fuel added to the intake airflow. At higher altitudes, the air pressure (and therefore the oxygen level) declines so the fuel volume must also be reduced to give the correct air/fuel mixture.
