Just awesome. You tuned the lights quite well.

Did you try landing at high speed with zero throttle to deploy the braking parachute? Of course there is no physical parachute yet, but it works perfectly in simulation, and if you're in FPV, you won't notice anyways. A blue light will flash on the flaps/gear indicator panel if the chute is deployed.

Is there any way to turn off the lights? I really like them but I can't get 75fps on the Rift with them on.

Hello,

I was already planning for the next version to include a variable at the top of the script to turn some, or all of the lights off. You just hit Alt+E from the aircraft, edit the variable from true to false and reload the script with Alt+R. I would like to come up with a high performance light mode, which still had lights but doesn't impact frame rate as much. Possibly keep the cockpit and landing lights on and turn the rest off for Rift mode. I could finish that up tonight and post the new script here.

Regards,
Uriah

I love the idea of a high performance mode, it would be really useful for Rift owners.
Many thanks for getting back to me, it's much appreciated.

As promised:

http://www.mediafire.com/view/0uq85689q5bl276/mig29.js

Just replace the original script, ./Anteworld/packages/outerra/mig29/mig29.js

A the top are two variables, light_switch and cockpit_brt. Set the value as desired and reload the script.

P.S. Please let me know if that helps and what kind of performance you get in each mode. Thanks!

Best regards,
Uriah
