Tools for content creators

So I just discovered Outerra late last year, well, a couple of days ago, and I'm loving the beautiful landscapes and powerful scenery it offers.
My biggest complaint is just that it can be difficult to capture these moments.
Of course you can disable most HUD elements, go in a straight line and use the build-in recorder, but there is potential for so much more!

Here are some things I have in mind:

The ability to record, pause and reverse a simulation.
Example: If I wanted to have a plane or two flying in the distance of a scene without having to let it glide while I set up my angle.

The ability to set a predefined camera pan.
Sometimes, you just find that perfect angle to record from, and want to make sure you get it right every time. Being able to have the camera move and pan around in a predefined way could result in some amazing footage.

A better build in recorder / better recorder support
Not that the current one is bad, but I find many of the files to be corrupt, and the .webm format, while being broswer friendly, it is not very editing friendly. Fraps and Dxtory do not work properly either, limiting ones options.

Rendering a scene / Ultimate graphix omg
This one is just kind of an idea, being able to "render" a scene. Turning all settings to the max is pretty demanding, but does look great. Being able use the tools mentioned before to set up a scene, and then later render it in lets say max settings and 4K could result in some amazing fan-made trailers and movies.

I know there are other important things to be done first, but for me, as a (on hobby level) creator, these kinds of things can be invaluable!

In the meantime, enjoy some outerra porn I got earlier. These are actually a part of some footage I got, and it looks even better on video! ;)

And for the devs and modders out there, keep doing what you are doing. This amazing engine would not exist or do what it does without all the hard work put in!

Well there is a camera path recorder you can play back but it is still beta. I'd love to see a full blown SLR photography simulator shell that lets you adjust aperture and shutter speed and focus all manually. Would be an amazing tool.
