Biomes

Can the developers tell when we can expect to see the new biomes? A rough estimate would suffice.

Do you mean vegetation matching the appropriate biome for given world location? There are several parts needed for it, from tree models to suitable land class and species data and changes needed in the terrain pipeline for universal support. All of it is in various stages of completion, but it likely won't be ready this year yet, unless the priority is bumped.

The amount of detail being put into the biomes seems incredible and I am highly excited for it. I believe the biomes will completely change the look of the engine and take it to a whole new level of realism.
