So what if it's a gaffe?  We all commit those.

I'll edit out my comment since the OP fixed it ... but seriously ... only watching out for Outerra here :D

Wasn't my intent to offend the OP at all.  It just floored me that someone would do so.  if it was a mistake, then all's well and good.  I just don't want my favorite procedural engine getting into legal trouble because of an errant post

Hello,

It was my fault: The publication of this link it was silly and stupid. Will not more. Sorry.

But what do you mean about a procedural City in Outerra?

There's several city engines designed for use with blender. I understand that they take various maps in (street, population, etc) and make fairly decent buildings.

One, Suicidator City Generator, is public domain. --http://arnaud.ile.nc/sce/index.php

Another, blended cities, is GPLv2 --http://jerome.le.chat.free.fr/index.php/en/city-engine/

I'm fairly sure it would be legal to slightly modify blender and use it to generate meshes to insert.

Do you know how hard it is to get a 51 frame gif under 10kb at a decent resolution?
