At about $260,000 dollars now and 7 days to go. I think they are going to make their goal, but maybe just barely.

Still. I think of what Outerra could do with that sort of money: The databases and assets they could buy to push the project forward, and my imagination lights up.

Ok, They have this in the bag!! $293,000 out of the $300,000 they were asking, and 61 hours to go.

Almost $20,000 added just in the last day.

Good job, I-Novae.

Glad it worked for them! It didn't look so well a week back, but people apparently started to increase their pledges and gave it a new life.

A lot of people were saying that it's the last few hours of a successful Kickstarter that the money really flows in. Once they hit $275,000 pundits began predicting they would not only make it, but go over.

Now it's just seeing by how much they go over.

This is doomed to fail. I don't even get why people would pour in money for this when Star Citizen is around which is atleast 10x better than this and much more polished and bigger with an outstanding team of devs. Oh well to each his own I guess. Space sims to begin with don't interest me the slightest anyways.

When is Outerra starting its Kickstarter btw ? I bought the beta version like an year back but It's just getting old unless we some quality converted fsx/p3d aircrafts and sceneries. NextGen Flight Sim team seem to be pretty dedicated so I am keeping an eye out for them aswell since they have already started work on their Sim. Even though they're using Unigine, my vote still goes to Outerra. I just hope that the Outerra devs hurry up with those OSM updates so that we can get to play with something new. It will also generate interest of alot of people from p3d/x-plane because they will have something to build upon and play with instead of just grass, water and mountains.

You can never tell what strange things can happen. It will be interesting to the see the Outerra devs response to this.

Thats impressive. People are trying to squeeze out whatever they can out of the current build of Outerra but eventually they're going to hit a brick wall. Outerra's current situation is quite ambiguous and I don't really know what to expect out of it because we haven't received any definitive answer yet. Nonetheless keeping an eye on this one.

Honestly I think (hope) the dev's are being quiet right now because of the upcoming release of TitanIM, and that we will begin to hear/see a bit more after that.

End of november: ITSEC 2015, where Titan will be demonstrated like last year. As a result, most of their team are in crunch time, finishing the demos and the OT team is doing extended tech support. That's why you don't see them a lot around these days, and also why some forums members are so quiet.
They have stuff planned for after ITSEC, but right now they are really busy with Titan.
