I just looked at this using 3d vision picture viewer and it looks better than most games out there.  It's a bummer nvidia doesn't allow 3dvision with openGL on normal cards.

P.S. That 2nd(an6) screenshot is super epic... I can't get over how cool the ground looks close up.

I was interested in knowing how easy it would be to make "3d" screenshots, and came away pretty surprised:

Looking down into the Grand Canyon:


Looking out a bit over it (warning, high separation):


Much higher shot showing a lot of of the canyon's details:


Mt Rainier:


Mt St Helens (accidentally made using red/blue preset, instead of red/cyan, so some noticeable ghosting):


Just in case somebody wanted it (for cross-eyes, other reasons), here's the original bmp pairs I used.

any chance of putting a SideBySide mode for 3d into the graphics options? shouldn't cause a fps drop as its the same number of pixels displayed or very minimal at least.

Should be added when the stereo rendering is implemented, together with a couple of other modes.
