What values are used to construct the ellipsoid of the planet?
« on: November 10, 2016, 01:31:37 pm »

What values does Outerra use in building the ellipsoid of the planet? I thought it was WGS84 but someone said it's different. Under WGS84:

Major axis = 6378.137 km
Minor axis = 6356.752 km
Flattening = 0.00335281066
Eccentricity = 0.08181919092890624

It's not yet actually using ellipsoid for rendering, and for historic reasons it's still a sphere with radius of 6,378,135 m.
