that guy ...daniel holden..now working for ubisoft ...is doing a great work !  Hope this will sometime also be possible in outerra.

The map of Syria is a magnificent theater, well detailed and runs very fluid, maybe it is very heavy, it occupies 50 GB, although it has some serious flaws, it does not visualize objects in the distance well, the trees appear out of nowhere and mountains in the distance are blurred, and at high altitude, they look very bad .. I think this is a DCS "EDGE" motor problem. It is an engine so it looks very limited, but I can't say so either.
They have taken a video of the map and the truth is that it looks very good.

Yeah, I'd say FS2020's are a little too cauliflower-y while the one above is a little too cottony.  But I'd guess it might be hard to mix the 2 looks?

right....a mix of the two would be best....let's hope that outerra one day can do it better than both
