Imported house(3DWarehouse) ist not complete and incorrect size
« on: December 07, 2016, 12:25:44 pm »

Hi,
I have import the Victorian Mansion House (3D Warehouse) Version Sketchup Make 2014.
FBX import to Outerra was successful. I have added the texture pictures (jpg) manual after convert to .dds

Now i have this problem! The size from the house is not correct and many elements or textures from house are missing.

Greetings

You can either:

edit the scale in a 3D editor

increase the scale in the FBX importer under Unit Multiplier

use the "this.get_geomob(0).set_scale(x)" command in the JS file

The missing elements are either flipped normals or the model's submeshes weren't contained in a single group. Both would need to be changed in a 3D editor.

Which software you use for generating the fbx? And obviously there have to be flipped some normals.
If you are using blender you can change the scale of the model on export. But i dont have to do this actually. Maybe your model scale is not normalized.
