Hi, I installed the latest version of outerra and whenever I try to open it I get a black screen with stars (see attached image). Very rarely the login screen shows up, and when it does I can't interact with it at all, just displays a frozen image. I reinstalled all of my drivers but that didn't help. I also have the middle-earth otx installed.
Any help is appreciated!

Hm, seems to be AMD Catalyst 15.7.1 version. Can you update it to a newer one?

From what I can see 15.7.1 is the latest version available to me.

I updated my catalyst version to 15.11.1 and i still have the same problem. I reinstalled outerra to a different folder just in case but that didn't help, no eng.log is being generated for the 2nd version. I only seem to get the frozen login window the first time i start up the demo, subsequent attempts only generate the black starry window Attached is the eng.log for the initial version, although i don't know whether it updated because it says it was last modified on march 1.

Do not set data directory to Program Files during installation. Windows doesn't allow writing there.
If you reinstalled using defaults, eng.log is in your user data.

Seems to be the same. Do you have any antivirus software?

I disabled my antivirus but still got the same issue. I ended up installing an older version of anteworld 16.6601 and it seems to work. Although when it auto updates to a newer version i get the same problem. When i install and load the middle earth otx on this older version the land doesn't load (or maybe it does but its hidden in the half of the world which is pitch black since the sun doesn't shine there). Is there any way to fix that?

Edit: issue resolved by significantly altering the time of day...
