snowfall not changing with dynamic weather
« on: October 15, 2018, 02:52:37 pm »

I noticed that the intensity of snow falling is not changing even when dynamic weather is enabled. Contrary to rain which comes and goes with cloud coverage once set snow fall continues indefinitely and at the same strength, not changing even if wind strength dynamically changes.
That's a pity as it would be very nice to have snowfall come and go and become more or less intense for instance associated with cloud coverage as for rain or with wind strength. Also it seems to me that the direction of snow falling and wind direction do not really coincide. Sometimes also for strong winds snow seems to blow in direction opposite to the wind direction.

With great pleasure I recognize my mistake: using my windsock I could check that outerra's snow fall follows indeed the wind direction !    :)

you saw right. Actually it is my source of "global custom sounds"...for now with just very few...such as better wave sound (dependant on seastate) underwater sound, wind sound, walking in shallow water sound and swimming sound.
