In the southernmost southern cone of South America, there are important lakes that are not yet in Outerra.
I think it's a known error but I add it as a reminder in future updates. Thank you.

it's probably just the san andreas fault line

dark areas, confuses lake with terrain and poor visibility occurs. I have seen it in Israel, Egypt and now in Death Valley-California.
why does that happen?

I think its because altitude is below sealevel and somehow fog seems by default set at sealevel. I also have seen it in venice airport. Maybe change fog settings can help.
