New Tech Demo Installation - NO MOUSE POINTER!

OT version 17.1.0.10447

Windows 10.0.17763

Nvidia GTX1060

Wired  USB mouse

There is no mouse pointer, so I am unable to easily configure the Tech Demo.

I am able to tab around some of the menus, and I can see when the mouse is hovering over a menu item.

The mouse look-around also works, as do the mouse buttons.

But no pointer whatsoever.

How can I correct this?
