Camera speed completely inconsistent
« on: March 09, 2020, 06:29:26 pm »

I just downloaded Outerra and from the very beginningm flying around is simply impossible. I can control camera speed but from time to time, it simply kind of teleports to a completely different location. I managed to record a video of this happening and I'm attaching it to the post. I can control camera speed both through the mouse wheel and PgUp/PgDn, also, I tried locking the speed but it doesn't work. It's like the game assumes I'm on a higher altitude and puts me on max speed, no matter how slow I'm going.

Apparently it wasn't possible to attach the video. I'll gladly upload it to YouTube if it helps you guys.

There's a bug in AMD OpenGL drivers causing this: https://forum.outerra.com/index.php?topic=3843.msg46167#msg46167

Good to know. Unfortunately I'm probably running the same drivers as the ones who managed to fix the problem to that another user. I guess I'll update for the latest version and see how it goes...
