Hello,

Corrupt download?
My download was messed up like that too, I redownloaded the installer and it fixed the problem. A bit time consuming but definitely worth the wait.

Do you remember from what server did you download the installer, US or EU?

It was the EU download (I'm from the EU).
I tried redownloading it, and this time the installation was interrupted almost immediately with

I tried downloading from the US but that was interrupted by a network error.
But after several tries from the EU server I finally had a good download and the app is working fine.

Hi everybody, I started having issues a few days ago where Anteworld would constantly crash from the building dataset, when i first downloaded and ran it, everything was fine, it was a bit laggy in areas densely populated by trees and buildings but it still ran and never crashed until a few days ago, i stalled the new 746 patch last night hoping it would make things better but it didnt. Thoughts and recommendations that ideally dont involve re-installing and losing whatever data i currently have

Does the crash reporter pop up & are you sending the crash reports? I can see some under your name but only for the older version.

If the question is directed to me, no, the crash reporter doesnt pop up, it just goes down with a windows error saying "Anteworld has stopped working"

If the reporter doesn't pop up, it usually means that it crashed in the drivers. Did you try to update your graphics drivers, and what GPU is this?

So i just downloaded the latest patch and now theres an error that pops up the instant i try to run outerra saying: "The program cant start because api-ms-win-downlevel-kernel32-l2-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem" i would prefer not to re-install the whole thing unless i have to, so do i have any other options?

Try downloading a runtime library from Microsoft: https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x64.exe
But it got there by mistake, we'll remove the dependency.

Having a complete crash, even after a full reinstall.

Here's my eng.log file: https://pastebin.com/eDJPiXzU

If you're okay downloading the full crash dump, here it is: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ybigtl0o4t011fd/Crash%20Log.zip?dl=0
