14:51:54.326 DEBUG: GL Renderer: Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630

Unfortunately, the app does not work with Intel integrated graphics cards. They do not have enough power but mainly their OpenGL drivers are buggy and incomplete.

Actually, you should not have gotten through the installer, there's a check if the GPU supports bindless textures (which yours doesn't).

But I doubt many people are "waiting for a breakthrough", the community of tinkerers and silent world explorers was only ever so big, and there were lots of simmers that now happily went to FS2020. Mind you, this was the market we never tried to compete in, a specific niche with dedicated and demanding customer base, lots of existing companies crowded there and us with our comparatively tiny resources. One probably can't doubt our perseverance, with which we could still attempt it head on, but that would require us to be also reasonably fanatic flight sim fans and not essentially borderline ones.

Our tech demo is still getting updates, but not so frequently because we keep breaking stuff and there's already a problem of backward compatibility with the mods. IMO, a bigger and more active community can probably only arise once we release something for a wider gaming community ...

Will it ever happen?
Will the transition from space to land happen flawlessly as in OT?
If it happens, you'll need to build from zero the whole world, terrain data input, roads input, objects input, physics input, etc, etc...
From a sim map builder pov, OT is missing some key functions (at least in anteworld, don't know how it is in the devlopper version ), but simple functions like selecting an area to edit (simple example: transforming all asphalt roads in an area into cobblestone roads); being able to modify vegetation (remove or add) directly on screen; terrain texturing using procedurals as in Arma and an editor interface more friendly  =D
The big  issue (for me) in OT is the Water Render and the weather (visualy).

I follow a one guy engine WiP since few years and what is he doing looks really nice and he does it in Vulkan.
I think his planet engine will be out sooner than the unreal one.
