Blinking streetlight (permanent in scenery) release
« on: January 09, 2022, 08:44:36 am »

Its my pleasure to release a first version of blinking streetlights (white and yellow versions)
that once placed on the editor will be permanent;  so you don't need to spawn them every time in your scenery

Download from here:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/13h7TpRXY33a8eRdQaossAwbNY-NIE_lW?usp=sharing

Installation:
simply click on self-installing .otx file

Use:
In the scenery editor under assets search for "streetlight" .
There should two streetlight icons, a white and a yellow one with the word "BLINK" in the icon.
Drag them onto the scenery and place them where you like. Take care to position the base of the
streetlight mast on ground level.
If you burry the mast too deep in the ground you will not see the blink effect
at large disances very well.

Note:
The blink frequency is fixed. Also placing several of them, their syncronization is different each time you enter outerra. Still you may find some ues for it  ;)

Thank you very much fly ,, ,, why did you use the streetlights for the flashing light instead of the "blinklight (white) (red)"
is it very difficult to add the color red ??

I just started with the streetlight...for no specific reason...so now that its working...next I will do in the same way the other lights as well.
Also I was sure you would invent some way to use it  ;)
Stay tuned  :)
