Unigine engine - Valley demo preview
« on: November 10, 2011, 08:14:28 am »

I know its a different kind of engine, but it does look nice.  I can't wait to see if Outerra will display that level of detail, procedurally I guess in the future. Would be great. I can imagine tons of rocks, bushes, etc. at close range then fading out.
I realise that's what Cameni is hoping for, the blending of close-up details with long distance viewing. Good LOD morphing. I'm just looking forward to it!  :)

That looks amazing! :O

Would be a dream come true if Outerra could be that detailed. Don't know if that's possible with the whole world but it would be epic! :)

Yer, this engine probably doesn't cover the whole earth. but there 's no reason why Outerra couldn't generate that level of detail close to the camera/players point of view.  Even if some details just fade out slowly. Better than none.   Im sure that's already in Cameni and Angrypig 's minds.    ;)

Even if Outerra will look like it does now it would still be more awesome than any other engine soo :D

Looks very nice. But prefer the Outerra Engine because Outerra covers an entire planet.
