3 more files will be coming, each roughly 2GB in size. The tiling scheme can be visible here:

I've placed "earth" folder inside /Outerra/data, but even with this some elevation data keeps being downloaded, and the files that is being downloaded already exist in "earth" folder!

EDIT: Looks like Anteworld is using C:/User/Outerra/data as source insted of D:/Outerra/data. How can I change the source path?

It uses what you told it to use during the install (the data path).
The easiest way to move it would be to reinstall it, otherwise the data path is in the data.cfg in the install dir.

During  the install, I specified to install in D:\Outerra\, and in data.cfg the path is "D:\Outerra\data". Tryed to install again, C:\Users\ is still the source in use.

I'm using Windows 8 x64

How did you find it uses c:\users?
The path it uses to read terrain files is also noted in eng.log

I've made a search in all my HDDs for any *.wad files, and a bunch of them was in C:\User\Outerra\data\earth. If I delete this folder and start Anteworld, as soon as .exe opens a empty/blank "Outerra" folder is created in D:\ (as stated in data.cfg) and another "Outerra" folder is created in C:\User\, and this one is filled with folder and files, and is the source that Anteworld uses for content.

-> C:\User\Outerra\
\campos\
\data\
eng.cfg
eng.log
iomap.cfg
time.log
world.cfg

If you have installed the program with data in d:\outerra, it would have been already populated with all the config files and data. But you say that d:\outerra folder is created only after running the program, so there's something wrong.

From what you are saying it looks like neither the installer nor outerra.exe can access d:\ disk properly. Access privileges? Or something Win 8 specific?

The program was instaled in D:\Outerra\Anteworld. I've deleted everything, installed again a clean install in D:\Outerra\Anteworld, and setted source files to D:\Outerra. By the moment that i run Outerra.exe for the first time it's create the folder C:\User\Outerra as soon as .exe starts. Scary!

Hmm, lets go over it once more.
The installer asks for two directories: first the program installation directory (defaults to c:\program files (x86)\outerra\anteworld) and in the next step it asks you for the data directory (defaults to c:\users\yourname\outerra).

What did you set for these two? Can you attach your eng.log here? It should print the paths as well, maybe also providing some hints as to what's going on.

I was trying this, and source was being set to C:\Users\Outerra\

1st: D:\PC Games\Outerra\Anteworld\
2nd: D:\PC Games\Outerra\

Now I tried this, and worked.

1st: D:\PC Games\Outerra Anteworld\
2nd: D:\PC Games\Outerra Anteworld\

Now look likes everything is ok, except for a lot of erros like this on top corner: ERROR: Object "city/residential02" doesn't exist!
