If you still try to cope with ATI's disaster 4000 series, here's a new challenge:
i installed 0.7.13.3478 and the Earth has turned into a gas planet, with no solid core.
I have some screenshots here, together with the log and cfg files.

The 0.7.12 worked fine, and this is the first 0.7.13 version i tried. Tried with both 12.6 and 13.1 drivers, with a Radeon 4850.

That is pretty much all she wrote giucam.. It has been like that for a month or so and since ATi has stopped supporting it I don't want Cameni backtracking to make a back door for our obsolete cards. We must take the hit in this for the good of the game. We... must upgrade.

It's increasingly harder to get it working on 4000 series. Anything can break it for no apparent reason. The driver gets into a very unstable state when running Outerra, and whether it will render anything depends only on random fluctuations and order of operations etc. Like when Abc94 got it working for one run. He thought that Avast was responsible, so he tweaked Avast settings and run the app repeatedly to see if it helped. In one case it did indeed run, but it was not reproducible. Confusing.

Additionally, with the financial problems at AMD and how they try to solve them we are losing our contacts, moved to different positions and/or loaded with more work. Support for cards older than 5000 is totally out of question, and even fixing bugs for the newer ones gets longer and longer. You can expect 6 months until a reported bug appears fixed in a public driver release, if it's considered fixworthy at all.

So .. decide for yourself.

Same, and I've been thinking about getting a new video card for a while now anyways.

Do we know if or when Intel will be supported?

Intel is still working on their OpenGL drivers to get them run Outerra, but it's still quite buggy at the moment. And if supported, it will only include Ivy Bridge and higher.

Good enough for me! Then I can run Outerra in my Laptop as well.
Can I login to my purchased game from both computers?

I have a HD radeon 4890 and it says my open gl version is 6.14.10.10750

I looked up open gl versions and it looks like the don't support my card...

I see every version all the way up to hd radeon 4870 x2 but nothing for mine

4890 would be supported (I think Zeos here is running just that card), but since AMD discontinued the support for anything older than 5xxx cards while the OpenGL driver was still buggy, you will get driver crashes and various artifacts.

The last driver for 4890 is the legacy 12.6 driver.

If you want something which won't be too slow in year or two, than i suggest Radeon HD 7850 (or higher). Or of course some equivalent from nVidia.
