Yep it seems Warthog produces some erroneous values on axis 7 (which should be a raw duplicate of the axis 2 actually, no idea what they are doing there). We are removing those extra axes from detection altogether.

As for the MFD crosswind - it now crashed later in the code, on another set of invalid values coming from the device. I'm adding extra checks there.

Seems joystick makers have some fun creating really oddly behaving drivers ..

Hello,

the program is great and runs perfectly on flat projection. The attached picture shows the spherical projection (cylindrical is similar), which I need for my triple screen setup. Can anyone tell me what to do?

My PC: I7 4770K, GTX780Ti, 16GB RAM, newest graphics drivers. There's no eng.log file in the folder c:\users\###\outerra\.

I will definately buy the Alpha when this issue is solved.

I'm sorry if this problem was discussed earlier, but I didn't find it.

Greetings and thanks in advance!

eng.log file is where you selected the data directory during the installation.

Ok, I thought the file should be there because the directory existed... Now I found it but it's too big to attach it. What section could help to find out the problem? I don't want to post the whole text.

Ok the spherical/cylindrical modes seem to be broken on cards where the new depth mapping mode was enabled, will be fixed.

Too bad. I hoped for "just uncheck the box xxx" but it seems to be more serious. Anyway, thank you very much, I'll regularly check the forum for updates. Meanwhile I'll check my Paypal account to go sure I've got at least 15$. ;)

Greetings

I've got an ASUS laptop with an I7 processor 2.4GHz, 6 GB RAM, geforce 740gts 2GB graphic card and running on 64 windows 8.

When i open the game i receive the error that my Intel grapgics drivers for OpenGL are outdated etc etc etc.. I tried to update my drivers but they are all up to date. I tried to start Outerra with a nvidia profile (via nvidia settings) and to open it with the standard nvidia profile. What else can i do? I put the eng.log file in this comment. Thnx in advance!

It does not open with a high performance profile, but it uses the default Intel one.
Some old Nvidia drivers did not work correctly with OpenGL switching. Did you update with the latest drivers from Nvidia? Manufacturers usually lag with the drivers and don't care.
Your Intel drivers aren't the newest ones either ...

I autodetected the NVidia driver and it said ok, I updated it manually so that should work, the intell driver on the other hand... Product Detected  IntelĀ® HD Graphics 4000  , when I install them it gives an error saying that this computer is not varrified or something and it aborts the install. any tips?

**never mind, the NVidia driver was enough, thnx for the help

Hello
When I launch the game, I get the error of "Graphics card drivers crashed during the initialization of OpenGL"

I've reinstalled graphic drivers and everything, but it still does not work

Here is a pastebin of the log

Did you uninstall the drivers first, preferably cleaning it too?
The error basically says that the crash happens inside the graphics drivers and we can't do anything about it, as it's either a hardware problem, or corrupted state of drivers or the of operating system. But with AMD it relatively often happens that the drivers somehow get into a messy state (especially if you used any beta drivers previously) and need to be cleaned and reinstalled.

Oh, I originally uninstalled the drivers first, then reinstalled, but now I'll try to clean it
Thanks
