Try deleting/moving campos/earth/default.cam, eng.cfg and world.cfg in case they got corrupted.

It worked once. Outerra started in windowed mode. (Yay)
Closed it down, and restarted. Locked up before login window
Removed the files again and restarted. -Locked up again.
Tried 2 more times to remove files and restart. - Locked up all times.

And I've tried doing a complete reinstall of Outerra.

With complete reinstall, did you also delete/move the whole outerra data folder away? In case it's some of the downloaded files/mods ...

It was a new install in a completely new win64 install, but I can try it again and make sure everything is removed.

I can try it again and make sure everything is removed.

No luck. I did a complete reinstall and removed all files, still does not start. Just hangs with high CPU. like 90%.

Hmm that's really odd. One more idea - after you install it, delete the precomp.lst file and try starting it again.

I can Run MEDEM just fine but when I choose earth I crash in initialization.

What might be my issue?

Probably corrupted terrain data. Did you try reinstalling?

I work in survey/mapping. I'm very interested in seeing how this level of rendering can be used for that industry. I will purchase the demo soon and play with the tool features you already have.

Ok, Just downloaded the new Nvidia drivers (337.88) and Anteworld is very unhappy.

INFO: Some foreign modules were found injected into Outerra exe. Note that these modules can interfere with the rendering, causing black screen or rendering artifacts.

The following potentially problematic modules were found:
G:\Outera\Anteworld\Openal-mob. dll (unknown company, unknown product), version unknown

ERROR: error linking the program s9cba5cf77f602eff6d8f3af3c221a4a07b9ebb sbb108d5e847f46dff71cfd6d46ebee43b76d3a88 vertex info

(0) : fatal error C999: *** Exception during Compilation ***

ERROR: openGL error: failed to link shader program

This is on the boot screen. Later there is a final crash with the error

Occasional crashes with 337.88 whql.

Eng.log truncated for file size reasons.

Nvidia WHQL drivers have the same bug as the previous betas. Road shader won't compile, without any details (*** exception during compilation ***). Will work only if you clear the cache and have no roads.

Obviously it's better not to use the drivers at all.
