So there won't be any workaround from OT team? I need those drivers for x-plane, they fix some issues with it, and i need working OT as well. So now I have to switch drivers all the time..

It's an internal driver error, we have no idea what may be causing it in a shader that worked even 2 years back on older Nvidia drivers. We have submitted a bug report way back for the beta drivers, but haven't got a response yet.

I've been randomly shuffling the code in the shader to see if anything helps, but no help so far. Complicated by the fact that our code is output from a generator, and that their error doesn't appear during compilation but only after linking with no additional info.

Unfortunately, unless we magically stumble on something that resolves it, we can only wait for Nvidia to fix it.

Ok, I tried to delete cache and it works. I don't really need roads, so it's fine. I don't think nvidia will fix it anytime soon, after WHQL release

Deleting the cache from the cache folder didn't seem to remove the OpenGL error for me. Guess I will roll back drivers. I surely hope Nvidia are aware of this problem and plan to fix it very soon.

I'll follow advise in this thread and hopefully all will be good (http://forum.outerra.com/index.php?topic=2680.15)

It's a buggy Nvidia driver, please revert to 335.23. Nvidia already acknowledged the problem and is working on a fix.

Is there any idea of how long it'll take for Nvidia to fix it?

I literally just finally paid for it the other day, and now I feel kinda a fool since I can't use it at all lol ;D

We already worked around it in the latest version, please update or reinstall. I don't know when Nvidia releases fixed drivers, but after their devs provided hints on what part they fail, we managed to restructure the code so that it works on those drivers too.

Sweet, re-installing did the trick, thanks!!

Hi there, I've developed an issue with the lastest version I hope you can help me with. Outerra tried to update itself a couple of days ago, but when it tried to restart, I got this message:-

The procedure entry point K32EnumProcesssModules could not be located in the dynamic link library KERN32.dll

I've tried reinstalling Outerra, I've updated my graphics drivers, and run a virus scan, but every time I try to start, I get the same message. I'm running windows Vista with a GTX 460 card.

thanks

Thanks for reporting, this seems to be caused by new system libraries that are causing the incompatibility. We'll fix it in the next update.

Word on the street is that the new Nvidia drivers 340.43 are so bad you might as well just poke yourself in the eye with a stick. Anyone wanna be the guinea pig and confirm?  :P
