Hello there!
What could the issue be here? It just won't start...
Graphics card is relatively old, but this shouldn't be the problem, OT was able to startup before on this rig.

It can't open the bio data. Does eng.log have some more info?

I have an error on startup

Exception OpenGL error: shader compilation failed ( :grass)

I have
Windows 7.1 ( 64 bit)
Intel Xeon W350 2.8 GHz
NVIDIA  Quadro FX 4800

I understand this problem may be fixed in the next upgrade, how would I know when this happens?

It doesn't even try to download it. Try deleting _bio data.

Deleting_bio data doesn't help as well as full reinstall :(

I actually realised something... Since it won't try to download automatically, may downloading of bio data from torrent help?

Is there a way in which you can "clear off" the current models etc that you have inserted into your terrain??? I am getting an issue where anteworld will not start and stall at "initializing world". It started happening when I tried inserting some models in, so want to eliminate that as being the cause. Sometimes it will actually start.... so I suspect it is a graphics card crashing issue, but want to try narrow it down.

Hi!

First try deleting

user/yourname/outerra/campos/earth2/default.cam

All the objects / roads you placed are in

user/yourname/outerra/cache/earth2


(might be just "earth", depending on which you choose when you login).

Thanks KW71 that worked a charm. Just need to work out what model was causing the problem. Suspect the one with too many vertices/too complex....
