2 bugs in the Middle Eastern terrain
« on: March 07, 2012, 12:44:08 am »

Hi,

I noticed the following issues in the Middle East:

In the mountains over Beirut there is a high peak of elevation. Please see screen capture link:

In Israel there is a huge lake that extends from the Sea of Galilee down to the Dead Sea and certainly is not there in real life. Link to screen capture included as well:

Cheers!

The first one is probably a bug in the source data, noted.

The second one - the engine doesn't yet support sea level other than 0m, so that's what the Dead sea region would look like if it was connected to Mediterranean.

Thanks Cameni for the info, and no problem for the Dead sea extention for now as I think also rivers are not modeled yet in Outera?

I noticed that because my home town Montreal is not cut by the St-Laurent river yet from surroundings

Cheers!
