I've asked Cameni something similar Zeos. For our map of Middle Earth the forests are kinda important to the visual appearance. It'd be great to have an interface/feature allowing for greyscale density maps. White = max density, black = no trees so you could place forests where you wanted. Cameni said that he had plans for a climate editor or interface and that forests would problaby be the first on the list.  :)
