External view of aircraft causes nvidia opengl driver crash
« on: March 03, 2012, 08:20:54 am »

Sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes only after 2 or 3 seconds.  Have tried it with all terrain detail levels and with shadows, AA etc. turned to minimum.  Does not matter if I am in complex mountains or featureless desert.

I cannot make it occur with either of the trucks.

gtx285, driver 285.62

OpenGL message "lost connection"
I have seen this Event Log Message:

The NVIDIA OpenGL driver lost connection with the display driver due to exceeding the Windows Time-Out limit and is unable to continue.

The application must close.

Have you tested if it happens with newer drivers too?

Hi,

I have the same problem when i'm very close to the floor during a long time (driving the truck for example) but no pb when flying.
Latest driver with an Nvidia Quadro FX 3800.
Used to work fine when i had a Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTX (that i had Transformed into a Quadro FX 5000).

Thanks
