Google Maps Widget Bug

Whenever I try to open the google maps widget I get this error :

ERROR: (c4e) [0617/131741:ERROR:proxy_resolver_winhttp.cc(79)] WinHttpGetProxyForUrl failed: 12167

And the Widget just stay blank with only my position cursor displayed.
Anyone know why? And how to fix it?

If you are using a proxy, it must be correctly set up in internet options. If not, please go to control panel, internet options, connections tab, LAN settings, and turn off "automatically detect settings".

It worked, thanks! Actually, thanks twice, you made me realize that I was connected to a unwanted random proxy set up by an old program.
