The internal system uses dynamic LOD so there's varying resolution of the terrain, there's no contiguous representation of it. Not to mention it's huge, so .. how, and what for?

I'm in the works of creating a game, and the team has decided to use the CryEngine. Our plan is to have the entirety of the U.S.A as the setting, as we've got most objects, and cities we need, all we're missing is the actual terrain.
