Happy New Year everyone!

Recently I've been working on physics for vehicles with swing axles. Here are some screens of Tatra T813 8x8 all-terrain truck with its characteristic independent swing half axles, going over some rough terrain on the mountain slopes.

The suspension seems to work as it should, although the values for the stiffness, damping and swing limits are just guesswork. Tire model isn't correct, so the wheels do not slip properly yet.

I shall make a video of it in motion, after we fix the model and the lighting and after the cockpit cameras are done.

Will there be a climate change occurring fast and slow?

Do you mean slowly/quickly changing seasons or really a climate change? :)

I was wondering the same, Cameni, I think it would be cool if you did add Precipitation and other climate changes, maybe add some snow :)

I love the idea of weather changes, more importantly how they affect the terrain.  If it snows longer the snow builds up?  Maybe to crazy of an idea at this point, but we can dream can't we?

I think this will be possible given the way the engine works - snow can be slowly building up, even smoothing the uneven terrain. The boundary between desert and savanna can be moving with seasons.
But I have to find out how to implement the climate model first, there are still some parts of it unclear.
