Hey I have a cool suggestion.
You should add "Blade Element Theory" which would be cool for accurate Aircraft Simulation and other objects in the surrounding Anteworld.

Just a suggestion, but I really hope to see this suggestion added.

Thanks,
Jonathan

To add to this:
Blade Element Theory is the concept behind X-Plane, the current competitor to FSX (P3D is just FSX but tweaked, at the moment). It calculates exactly how much lift each section of the wing produces, how much drag each component induces, and so on. There is a lot of calculation to be done since it all depends on stuff like speed, pitch/yaw/roll, weather/climate (humidity and temperature changes air pressure, changing lift). It gives a very accurate portrayal of real-life flight dynamics, and X-Plane is able to be used for RL flight training (with a license I think).

@ Jonathan: it's probably very difficult to do from scratch, but it's possible other games developers will incorporate their achievements onto an engine like Outerra... X-Plane might bring out an Outerra app when the engine is 'finished'. That would probably be needed if Outerra wants to become a military-strength simulator, I guess.

  • It´s way too complex, dont let me try to explain !

So simply, its a glitch of the big companies (boeing, sukhoi etc.) physic software way of playing to sim. games ? ... seems to be nice ...

We are still undeveloped as long as we don´t realize, that all our science is still descriptive, and than beyond that description lies a whole new world we just haven´t even started to fully understand.

Simply, it's real-world physics... but it can't be turned off, so gyro rotation and torque screw will always be there as well... meaning millions of people will be wondering why they're spinning out of control :P

... whyte some motivation and knowledge-search, they usually get it under control.  : P ... far worst is it in airplanes, getting a fighter out of a horizontal spin, more so of an upside down one ... those did cost many great people too much. Still, must be an processor-eater, for games of normal kind its better to make just approximated behavior. (Of course not the battlefield and CoD MW ones, they just apply alien technology to they air support (well, as for anything else too). : P ). A nice thing to hawe the physics do the stuff doe, nice and real, just need the initial energy and vector data for each element then, will be some time till that will apply in an full-spectrum sim world.

It might take time, but once it's done, it should/will be done for every element/particle. Whilst FSX is *very* realistic (nobody hate me please) it isn't as realistic as real-life is. And Outerra needs to be!

...just there's a lot of people who think FS is... crap. For 2006 it did a good job.

... the 06 was nice at its state, later ones just lack the nicer surounding (compared to later capabilities, and now OT of course : P), where the old one can have a great fly anyway, if the plane is good (something like nemeth designs works).
