Yes, sometimes happens but only if you keep "digging". I made a huge one to see if it had something to do with depth but it happens only by the amount of disaster caused by the craters...kind of.

This started to happen when I added the code for craters to adapt to the slope where they appear; previously they were all horizontal. But now it layers the rim on top of the previous ones ... guess I'll have to limit it somehow.
