And people complain our atmosphere is too foggy.
Although the picture is more about Tracy than about the Earth :P

Hands down, that has to be the sexiest image of any astronaut in the space program ever taken.  This image looks like a screenshot out of a Hollywood blockbuster movie.

And just for fun, this little Photoshop retouch of the photo, and taking some tag lines from another thread:

Was going to try to paint in the orbital view from the engine, but I couldn't get the image to fit properly.  But I think the logo on her shirt sells the shot ;).

I thought her name was Ripley.

Her movie name was Lieutenant Ellen L. Ripley.  Sigourney Weaver played the role.  But she'll always be Ripley to me :D.

A very talented actor, and still sexy after all these years.  Tracy Dyson does resemble her in this photo, but if you look her up on NASA.gov, she looks very different (still wonderful to look at, but not in the same manner as this image).  I think she's also credited with the longest space-walk.  Looking at her biography is very impressive.

By the way, for those of you who don't know her, she's married to George Dyson, who is the son of Freeman Dyson (you may know him best as the man who first brought the 'Dyson Sphere' to the world).  Look it up if you don't know what that is ;)

She's also the first astronaut to have been born after the first moon landing.  Very interesting young lady, and by all accounts, a very thoughtful and pleasant person to speak with (yeah, unfortunately I make it a habit of researching the people behind images I see :)).

*Edit* And when I wrote the bottom tagline, I wasn't considering the context of the photograph, and what it might potentially mean ...
