No Atmosphere
« on: January 24, 2014, 10:17:31 pm »

I installed Outerra yesterday and I swear I had atmosphere rendering.  A change to fullscreen followed by a restart --> no more atmospheric rendering.  I tried everything, deleting config files, and performed a full (Program Files & Users/me/Outerra/) uninstall/reinstall.  Nothing.  I did notice that there's only one file showing up in the /atmo directory, that file being the stars.

Any ideas?  (And yes I've verified the sun was overhead)

P.S.  I would have done this through xTrac in game, but it doesn't seem to be connecting...

I know you can have no atmosphere by playing with environment setting (the env tab ingame). Maybe you can try to open it and hit the  default button and see if it doing anything?

Thanks for the help, but no dice.

What GPU and drivers version have you got? Also, does it work when you switch it back to the windowed mode?

Fixed.  For anyone else's benefit:

Did not work when back in the windowed mode.

Quadro 1000M

Drivers were 319.xx  (I thought I'd updated these more recently... must've been work computer...)

Anyways, upgraded to drivers to 332.21   problem fixed.

Thanks cameni, needed a fresh set of eyes :)
