Model spawns but in a wrong place

My model spawns very far away from where I want it to. From where I click. It still spawns but I have to zoom out in order to find it.
I thought it could somehow be a problem about my pivot point in Maya, so I centered it. But no change.
What to do?

Solved it. Just center the object in your 3D modeling environment (I moved the aircraft to the center of the grid).
