Great work!
« on: February 09, 2012, 10:51:45 am »

As the adage says: best things you find by mistake, as it was for me. I found few vids, just 1/2hour ago, on Youtube and was like oh, great! but then, when I read article about upcoming game, I was like oh my god, this is awesome! It could be something like Arma, Minecraft and other simulators in one game. Keep it up!
And there comes my questions:
1) what CPU and GPU performance would be needed to run this great enigne?
2) If it will be game, would be there AI?
and at the end: 3) Can I use my mother language(slovenčina) in these forums?
also I have much more questions but i forgave them while I wrote this article :)

Welcome on the forums :)
1) Minimum is considered to be a GTS250 card (8800GT) and a two-core processor. Recommended is 460GTX and better.
2) Likely. We are starting with a pre-alpha release that will grow over time to include various game modes.
3) Ked sa to tu viac rozbehne, asi zalozime aj nejaku cz/sk sekciu ;)
Zatial tu bol myslim len jeden cz/sk topic

škoda že som len student sš a nemozem vám nijako pomôcť :( hocičo, len keby som mohol byť súčasť vášho super projektu lebo o takomto niečom snívam pomaly aj 4 roky, no zatiaľ moje vedomosti ani nesiahaju k mojím snom :) but also other questions come up! 1) is in engine support that we can create objects or only heaps with dirt or sand or other materials?
2) is wind feature of this engine, if so, is there any possibility to move with things or make those heaps to disappear?

You mean in the way of Minecraft? No, that's not the role of the engine, it would rather be a game mechanism. The engine's main component is  terrain generator and renderer, which allows for real-time terrain deformation - that's what the roads do, for example. Not sure what heaps you are referring to, and what has the wind to do with it.

Mozno by si to mal napisat po slovensky, alebo to posli ako message :)

What do you mean with "Minimum is considered to be a GTS250 card (8800GT)".
They are different video cards. I have a nvidia 240 gt, if a gts250 is the minium, ?

Ok, I confused it a bit. GTS250 is basically a rebranded 8800GTX+, and GTS240 should be better than the original 8800GT. So, I meant to say that 8800GT is minimum, but some people tested it even on 8600.
