Weird anomaly in the Andes
« on: February 26, 2012, 09:57:23 am »

Anomaly that stretches for a 100km or so.  It's not my intention to post every single little glitch but I thought this might be helpful.

Let us know if you want us to report things like this.

Might be a bug in source data or the mapping tool.
Is it aligned with a line of longitude, or some other direction?

yep it's aligned with latitude 8 degrees south.

-8.00.00 N -77.23.07 should get you there

I like it. Gives the Andes some character.
